Caring for Latex

WEARING LATEX

Please use the following tips for the best way to get into a tight fitting latex garment. Latex goes on much more easily with water based lube, we suggest Wet Platinum lubricant. It is usually available at your local drugstore or “adult” shop.

We recommend applying water based lube to the feet and legs for leggings and/or stockings , and then to the hands and arms for putting on long sleeves and/or gloves.

Catsuits must be put on correctly from the bottom up otherwise it will throw off the entire fit of the rest of the suit. When putting on a House Wears catsuit, be sure to line up the side seams on the sides of the legs (there are no front or back leg seams on our designs), this will insure a proper fit once the suit gets to the torso.

CARING FOR LATEX: Please use the following guidelines with regard to care for your latex clothes to insure their durability.

Clean the inside of your garments with plain water and a sponge

Lightly talc the inside of your garments and store them in plastic

Clean the outside of your garments with STP Son-Of-A-Gun and a soft cloth

Protect your garments - stay out of the sun! The sun oxidizes and irreparably damages latex!

Water based lube is OK to get in or on latex. Oil bases are not! Including but not limited to deodorants, hair gel, etc.

For a super finishing shine use a gentle "food grade" silicone spray. “Food Grade” means silicone that can be used on food, such as shiny apples in a Grocery flyer.

Protect your clothes and yourself by avoiding scissors, nails, etc.

Remember to be careful and take your time putting your latex clothing on -- latex is strong, but it is not indestructible. With a little patience and care you will soon be sporting the unique, sleek, and unforgettable image of Latex -- Have Fun!
